WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: Magnifi by TIFIN is changing the way consumers shop for investments by bringing trusted data, insights, and a world of investment opportunities right to their fingertips. Magnifis free search tool and its recently launched AI-powered personal investing assistant called Mentor which will be offered as a monthly subscription, enables individual investors with varying degrees of experience and know-how with investment intelligence that, up to now, has only been offered to professional financial advisors. Magnifi also provides, free, no commission and no-order flow trading of stocks, ETFs and mutual funds for investors seeking to easily put their insights to work. In a world where every individual is unique, TIFIN enables Magnifi customers to gain critical investment intelligence and recommendations that match their distinct investment needs, risk levels, goals, personal interests. As the Head of Product Marketing Management (PMM), this Marketing leader will be responsible for Magnifis go-to-market strategy for new products and will work closely with the Product team and other cross-functional teams to influence Magnifis roadmap based on market assessment. The PMM leader will be responsible for developing Magnifis value proposition, messaging and competitive positioning. The ideal leader will be skilled at working across Product and Marketing to ensure that user comprehension and the product's value propositions are consistent and pervasive across the entire user experience including Marketing assets, on-boarding flows, the website and the app. The candidate will be a motivated and tenacious self-starter who is comfortable defining user and business requirements, working with Product to prioritize optimizations and new features, and driving efficient and well coordinated go to market processes. The Head of PMM will report directly to Magnifis Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and will work directly with Magnifis Chief Brand Officer, Consumer General Manager, Head of Analytics and Chief Product Officer. The ideal candidate will either be located in Boulder, TIFINs headquarters or in New York where the CMO and General Manager sit. THE ROLE: Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders (including Product, Analytics, PR, Content Design, Engineering, Sales, Brand and more) to deliver world-class products and lead go-to-market Lead market assessment, quantitative analysis, qualitative feedback, and represent the market internally Drive user / audience comprehension to ensure that our products are meeting their needs and helping them overcome barriers Identify significant long-term opportunities based on research, analysis and a strategic view of the direction of the market Plan and lead cross-functional efforts to drive successful product alpha and beta programs and launches globally Demonstrate a strong understanding of the broader TIFIN ecosystem and the individual investor competitive landscape to develop strategic product feedback and positioning Define and manage comprehensive go-to-market strategy and plan including positioning, policy, launch strategy, PR Partner with Product Management, Growth Marketing, Lifecycle Marketing and Brand to plan growth and engagement driving initiatives that will drive product comprehension, on-boarding and usage/engagement. Drive product adoption and usage rates by supporting market facing programs and effective product launch support Communicate the value proposition of new products to other go-to-market teams including Magnifis B2B team supporting Financial Advisors as well as internal partners from Financial Answers who create and deliver daily subscription based content to individual investors WHO YOU ARE: BA/BS degree, MBA preferred 10+ years of Product Marketing or related Marketing experience, experience in strategy, product, or other cross-functional role in tech preferred Experience in financial services, fintech, ecommerce, technology preferred Experience at a startup or high growth tech company in product marketing, strategy, product, or similar cross-functional role Demonstrated experience driving strategic analysis to influence product and business decisions Quantitative analytical experience Experience synthesizing analysis and communicating concepts for internal and external stakeholders Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive results Self starter who can lead a small team but also operate as an individual contributor Analytical experience (strategy consulting or investment banking) preferred Experience leading Quant and Qual Research initiatives preferred Experience working in a product marketing, corporate strategy or general management capacity (partnered closely with product management and/or engineering to represent market requirements and with sales to support product launches) is a plus COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS PACKAGE: For Colorado Applicants: The expected starting salary range for this position in Colorado is between $140,000 - $180,000. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. The position is also eligible for incentive compensation as well as client acquisition bonus programs.
